Yes, it can. Every year on 1 January, the road tax rates may be adjusted. This is based on inflation correction and decisions made by the national and provincial governments. Provinces can add their own surcharge, called opcenten.
As a result, your monthly lease price may change once a year. Unfortunately, we have no control over this.

Electric cars pay the lowest road tax. Then come petrol, LPG and natural gas, followed by diesel. The highest rates apply to older LPG systems and some alternative fuels.Empty weight of the car.
This is the weight of the car without passengers or luggage. You can find it in the vehicle registration under ‘massa ledig voertuig’.
